Hosea 13:14: ‘’I will ransom them from the power of the grave; I will redeem them from death’’.
Job 19:25: ‘I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.’
‘It is finished!’ cried Jesus on the cross, in other words: ‘Paid in full!’
Hallelujah! We have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! We have been ransomed from the power of the sin, death, hell and the grave. What once held us has relinquished it’s claim on us! Jesus, our Great Redeemer has paid redemption’s price. We have been delivered out of satan’s bondage into adoption as sons in the Father’s House!
Colossians 1:13: ‘Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son.’
As I prayed in the Spirit this morning, I began to sense more than usual that I needed to press through and keep going until something broke. Sometimes we need to persevere some more in praying in the Spirit because a breakthrough is coming. We are labouring in the Spirit, and like childbirth, you instinctively know when you need to just ‘bear down’ and push through! We need to pray until there is a release. Breakthrough prayer does not come from nowhere. It comes from an accumulation that builds and builds until there is a breaking point. This is what my spiritual father, Apostle Maldonado teaches in his book:
'Breakthrough Prayer’.
As I prayed and walked up and down, I began to make wide circular motions with my arms. I began to feel ‘territorial’! I began to feel fiercely protective over my territory! Specifically over the borders of my territory not being crossed. I began to think of how a lion must feel when they walk their territory that they have marked (without going into it!) with scent as an invisible but unmistakeable message to the animal kingdom of who owns that territory.
We all have a territory, spiritually - this is ground that we have taken. Such as the ground you have taken in overcoming depression; the ground you took for health and healing in your body; and the ground you have taken to overcome alcohol or another addiction; the ground you took in forgiving someone; and the ground you took by the souls you won!
The enemy tries to tell you that you don’t have that ground secured. He wants to get you to relinquish and give that ground back to him.
If we are not protective over our territory, if we are negligent over it - the enemy is waiting to encroach upon that territory and take it back off you unawares or in plain sight by getting you to yield it back to him. He will take the smallest thing, a minor thing that you just need to bring to the cross where it could be resolved in an instant, and he will magnify that thing to condemn you out of your head. He will try to lie to you that you cannot pray, you cannot come into God’s presence.
So you need to get aggressive and protective over your territory, over what is yours, over what BELONGS TO YOU! Resist the devil! Kick him off your territory in no uncertain terms. No room for negitiation! Say: ‘This ground is un-negotiable devil! You have no stake in it! I own it 100% in Jesus’ name!’
Then thank him for the reminder and the inspiration to take more territory off him instead! Let’s rise up and say: ‘We will pursue, we will overtake, we will recover all!’ And ‘We will take the spoils and plunder the enemy’s goods!’
I feel like we’re getting ready to take the best the enemy has - in terms of wealth, resources and people! Some of his best recruits, some of the chief sinners are about to switch sides and start working for the Kingdom of God!
So call back your spiritual sons and daughters! Declare their release! Force the enemy to let them go!
Shout: ‘Release them now!’ ‘Release my finances now!’; ‘Release what belongs to me now!’
Shout: ‘Loose now!’ ‘Loose it to me NOW in Jesus’ name!’
So don’t concede that devil an inch! If you give him and inch he is sure to take a mile.
Many of God’s children have been going through a painful but precious time of sifting, heart-searching, refining and repentance and it is about to bear wonderful fruit. Focus on that! Let this beautiful work come to completion in your heart. God promises that he will restore you fully:
Hosea 14:2: ‘… return to the Lord. Say to him: “Forgive all our sins and receive us graciously, that we may offer the fruit (sacrifice) of our lips.’
I am so excited because I see and hear of many coming out of backsliding and being restored to faith and advancing the kingdom again like they once did and are still called to do!
Hosea 14:4: ‘I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, for My anger has turned away from him’
And God is saying: ‘Just you wait now because after your recovery there’s another level coming and that’s recompense and then get ready for the rain upon your land!’
This is the season where the tables are turning and everything is reset in our favour. This is the year of the favour of the Lord and I feel such an excitement rising that a righteous vindication is coming, the day of the vengeance of our God when he rains down righteousness! Recompense is coming!
